A lot has been happening lately and I feel so grateful today for one thing: A quiet cafe to work from!
Living in a city like Dubai means that you’re constantly surrounded by people everywhere you go.
Even in the middle of the summer, most cafes are busy and packed. Since I’ve had new noisy neighbors, I started going to different cafes to write from. Because I’m also working on a blueprint for an upcoming book, I need a quiet and peaceful spot.
No matter where I went, the places were always busy. I would take cabs to go to different neighborhoods and it would always be the same experience. Until today.
I started my morning with a visit to the bank to get original statements for a Schengen visa appointment next week.
Then I headed to a neighborhood that’s quite far from my area. From the bank, it took about 19 minutes by cab. If I were to go there from my area, it would take 25 minutes.
By heading here, I’m completely stepping out of my comfort zone. Mainly because not only is it far from my hood, it’s located in a remote community in the desert. Like really far out of the city.
What I discovered by coming here was incredible! I finally stumbled upon a Starbucks that’s not busy! It’s actually really nice here. First, people come and go and there’s a nice flow. So it’s not entirely haunted and it’s not busy either.
Then, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable at the same time. I tried a strawberry lemonade mint drink for the first time and I loved it! It was a bit fizzy and not too sweet – just perfect.
The best part about this Starbucks is the playlist – they have a really cool music playlist that I didn’t hear at other stores.
What this means is that it’s always a great idea to step out of one’s comfort zone and do something new!
Oh and I almost forgot to mention that there’s a supermarket and a pharmacy right next to the Starbucks!
So it really ticks off all the boxes for me! I can work here all day and then get some groceries on my way home.
This is such a lovely mini manifestation and I’m so grateful for it! what small thing did you manifest lately?
Your Limiting Beliefs about Love
Last Saturday, I was sitting at a small cafe having breakfast before a 90-minute massage at a spa next door.
There were two ladies sat at a nearby table and I overheard their conversation. Mainly because it was only me and them for most of the time at the cafe 🙂
The conversation was so interesting because they reflected my old self to me 🙂
They were both single and discussing their status and what they’ve tried doing. It was their mind and striving action they were using to find love – which is what I used to do at some point too.
They shared their failed experiences using dating apps and then one of them said something that really stood out to me.
She said: “I reached a stage where I feel like I will never meet anyone and I’m OK with that.”
The other lady responded in a way that a coach would. She explained to her how that’s a lie that she tells herself to avoid the pain. Basically a limiting belief.
When we have limiting beliefs about anything, these beliefs shape our reality.
So as long as you don’t believe that you can manifest long-lasting love and that your person exists, then you won’t. That’s the way it works. It’s as simple as that.
Your thoughts and beliefs create your reality. That reality will reflect your inner beliefs and thoughts. Then, you will be convinced that your beliefs and thoughts are true because your reality is confirming them to you 🙂
What you can do to break this cycle is work on your limiting beliefs. Start believing counter beliefs – like the fact that you are worthy of a magical long-lasting love.
It can be difficult and challenging to believe this – especially when you’ve experienced failed relationships or didn’t have healthy role models growing up.
That’s why it helps to work with a certified coach who gets you and who has been on a similar journey as you.
I’ll be happy to support you in shifting your beliefs about love and manifesting a healthy and magical relationship.
Happy Manifestation Monday!
