My all-time favorite spa in Dubai has got to be Mandara Spa at The H Hotel Dubai
Mandara Spa at The H Hotel Dubai
The Mandara Spa chain has branches all over the globe, as I find out from my Balinese therapist – Nancy. In my opinion, that’s one significant element that makes this place stand out from the rest of the crowd.
The standard at which this spa and its staff operate is a highly professional one. The therapists are well-trained, are all from Bali and they make you feel extremely pampered – just like you should when visiting a spa.
Another positive point that keeps me going back to Mandara Spa is their very spacious and well-maintained Jacuzzi. It’s true that almost every spa has a hot tub, but what’s unique about Manara’s is that it makes you feel like royalty when you’re inside it. The water is at the perfect temperature, the jets are at the right pressure and amount, and the space is just heavenly.
Due to some traffic and road accident delays, I wasn’t able to spend much time in the Jacuzzi before my treatment. That’s why I must book another appointment soon – to have a complete pampering experience.
On this particular visit, I went for the warm stone massage treatment. It’s a 65-minute treatment with a 15-minute foot ritual prior to the massage.
The massage bed used for the treatment was heated, which made for a more healing massage experience. My therapist – Nancy – did the massage in the pressure that I requested. I could honestly feel the difference in my back muscle tension as I took a shower this morning. My back was less tense and the tightness was remarkably released.
A good selection of tea types is served at the relaxation room post-treatment.
A Recommended Spa in Dubai
The spa in general has a very positive and zen vibe to it. You could sense the warm and good energy radiate as you make your way into its doors.
Mandara Spa at the address that is ‘Number One Sheikh Zayed Road’ is still number one in my books.
