Last week’s lifestyle post was a foodie review of The Sum of Us in Dubai. This time, I’m sharing my latest experience at my all-time favorite spa, the Mandara Spa Dubai.
Located at The H Dubai, this is the only Dubai spa where you will feel transported to blissful Bali. Most of the therapists are Balinese, and everyone is extremely friendly and smiley. You will feel so relaxed and recharged after getting a treatment there.
The only therapist who I book with at Mandara Spa Dubai is Widi. She’s the epitome of pure Balinese hospitality and friendliness, with her warm smile and beautiful spirit. Widi is so genuine and extremely professional.
On my last visit, I opted for the revitalizing package. The treatment starts with a foot ritual, then a full body scrub. It ends with an authentic Balinese massage by a purely Balinese therapist 🙂
The fresh coconut and turmeric scrub for my sensitive skin type was unique. The scrub smells so fresh and leaves the skin feeling soft and moisturized. Before applying the scrub, the therapist cleanses the skin with a Mandara Spa Dubai lavender shower gel. This also smells divine and is very relaxing.
The signature Mandara Spa Dubai massage oil was great, and recommended for sensitive skin. The scent of this oil has hints of patchouli and is gentle on the skin.
The spa regularly has offers on their various treatments and these can be found on the main Mandara Spa site. Despite visiting many hotel spas in the city, Mandara Spa Dubai’s jacuzzi is the best. It’s a very spacious tub and the water temperature is just right!
My next visit to this magical and happy place will be on October 8, for a Pure Nature facial. I can’t wait for this all-natural, freshly prepared facial that helps reduce oily skin problems. As with the treatment, this is the only facial that I found suits my skin’s needs.
If you’re looking for a spa day to unwind and de-stress without having to leave town, then book an original Balinese massage at Mandara Spa Dubai and thank me later!
