Being a real foodie, dining venues at a hotel mean so much to me. I make an effort to try them all. Of course, mainly to write a complete review on the blog.

Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi

Since the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi is quite new and has opened its doors recently only, some of the dining concepts have yet to open.

Exciting international names such as Cafe Milano and 1940s-inspired Chicago steakhouse, Butcher & Still are set to open in September. Seafood lovers can dine by the pool with stunning Abu Dhabi skyline and waterfront views, with live-cooking of grilled seafood at Eclipse Terrace Lounge. After a day of shopping or exploring the city’s culture and museums, you can unwind at old-school Hollywood glamour-inspired Zsa Zsa Lounge. The signature cocktail bar offers mixology classes for those with a flare for learning and some creative fun.

My Dining Choices

I was a bit tight on time before my spa treatment, so I opted for a light lunch at Crust.  This is the hotel’s market-inspired neighbourhood restaurant. The venue is so airy and bright with a spacious open terrace. It will be perfect for dining in the cooler winter months. They also just introduced a business lunch, which they can prepare within 45 minutes.

I don’t think you can stay at the chic property and not have afternoon tea, coffee or home-made ice-cream at Al Meylas Lounge. Al Meylas, which means living room in Emirati-style Arabic is designed with a traditional Emirati (or Gulf region) living room theme. Following the authentic Gulf region tradition of offering perfume to guests at someone’s house, you can find elegant Tola Pefumery smelling cups on every table and will be offered to spray top-end perfume from a selection of scents at the end of your visit to this adorable lobby lounge.

Return Plans

I can’t wait for my next visit to the Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi. I’ll sample the original afternoon tea at Al Meylas (they serve an English and a Middle-Eastern one). I’m also looking forward to Al Fresco dining at the main restaurants and to checking out Zsa Zsa and Eclipse lounges.

If you plan to stay for two or more nights, the hotel offers a 20% off discount with the Abu Dhabi Getaway promotion. You can also go for the family offer. You get to stay for three nights and get the fourth night complimentary.

I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and relaxing city break.
