Happy Manifestation Monday!
I want to start this post with a short personal story. This morning – for the past hour or so – I heard noise coming from the next door apartment. There’s basically some renovation work being done with lots of hammering and other noises.
Instead of giving this annoying noise attention and power over my wellbeing, I simply choose to play mantra music in the background and focus on getting work done.
I can still hear the noise as I type this post. That’s because I’m not playing the music at a high volume. And that’s OK.
What you Focus on Expands
What I choose to focus on is what expands. If I choose to focus on writing this post and then moving on to other tasks on my to-do-list, does the hammering noise really matter? no, it doesn’t.
I choose to ignore that noise and focus on other things. It’s all about shifting your focus and I want you to practice this in all areas of your life.
Another way to shift our focus is by choosing to focus on gratitude instead of lack. If I could tell you how many people I’ve met focus on lack instead of abundance, it’s just ridiculous.
Here’s the thing: if you choose to focus on not having something, you will attract more of the ‘not having’ into your life.
The key is to be grateful for what you have in your life, count your blessings and focus your attention on that!
Love Yourself and Your Life
Love yourself and your life exactly the way it is. Because that’s basically how you can make space for great things to come to you.
When you focus on abundance, you attract more abundance. Because you’re vibrating on the energy of abundance.
Gratitude is the easiest and shortest way to focus on abundance.
Do you have:
A roof over your head? Food to eat? Clothes to wear? Things that you want to learn? Areas in your life that you want to improve? If so, you’ve got so much to be grateful for! Start focusing your attention on that!
Let me share a scenario and how you can have two completely different outlooks on it.
You are someone who had a negative childhood experience and you feel like you have a lot of inner work to do.
Lack Focus: You feel depressed and judge yourself for having so much inner work and healing to do. You feel unworthy of love and connection. Your value for yourself is very low and your standards follow that.
Abundance Focus: You feel motivated and inspired to learn, grow and evolve into a higher version of yourself. You are excited about all the knowledge and insights that you’re gaining. You practice setting boundaries and you don’t engage with toxic people. Your time and energy are valuable and you are not giving these to anyone who doesn’t value them. Your self-worth is at a high level because you have done so much personal and spiritual growth. You are truly a gem and worthy of the best kind of love and connection.
Can you see the difference in the two mindsets? it’s the same scenario, the same person, but your focus has shifted.
You Attract Everything You Desire
I want you to understand that when you love and value yourself, your life and your current reality, you attract everything that you desire.
You make space for magical things to enter your life. Because your vibrating on a higher frequency.
The reason that you need to be aware and practice this mindset is because when you were growing up, you were told that you were not good enough.
When you feel that you’re not good enough, then there’s no way for you to attract abundance and awesome things.
Lack attracts lack. When you think, speak, act and live out of this ‘lack’ mindset, your life reflects exactly that.
You will notice that there’s lack in every area of your life. Money, love, friendships, lifestyle, everything basically.
Why am I telling you this? because I was there too. I’ve experienced the lack that I’m talking to you about.
If you were raised with “you’re not good enough”, your main task today is to re-wire your subconscious mind.
Start by bringing awareness to your thoughts and changing them. Shift your focus. Count your blessings.
