I wrote a blog post about the topic of life balance earlier. Here’s the link if you didn’t read it.
Today’s post will cover specific steps that you can take to feel good and invest energy into all areas of your life.
I want to start by saying that the Mercury Retrograde energy is so intense these days! I can barely do my morning meditation and I find it challenging to be productive or get work done.
Luckily, we’re only experiencing it this intensely until the fourteenth of February. It should get easier after that until it ends on the 20th. So if you’re feeling overwhelmed or down these days, trust that it’s part of releasing the old energy and unleveling your soul.
Why is it easier for me to feel calm in a pandemic
First, it’s because I’ve done the deep inner work before the pandemic hit. As such, I was already on the path of spiritual growth and healing.
Second, I’ve been an entrepreneur and blogger for the past couple of years. So working from home is not something new to me. I also have skills like time-management and investing in all areas of my life.
This just means that your time to get on the spiritual growth and manifesting journey is now! so don’t delay things because there’s no shortcut or magic potion – you just have to do the inner work and growth.
Why is it important to live intentionally
The truth is that all of us were conditioned in a certain way and we live our lives based on that family or societal conditioning.
So if your parents or caregivers put so much attention into career, achievement, hard work and success, the chances are that you’re now leading your life with these values without giving it much thought.
I say this because this used to be me. In the past, I would invest all of my time and energy into a career or education.
I know many people who had a similar upbringing and although it has its pros, it also has many disadvantages.
Living my life in a mind-identified and career-oriented way made me a late-bloomer. And I still am.
It’s not a good thing because you learn all the life lessons later in life. Like now, at forty and a half years of age, I’m learning how to date. This is truly embarrassing!
Of course, there are so many reasons for this apart from the conditioning and that’s the fact that I grew up in a toxic home so my priority was to heal my wounds and clear my blocks.
Achieving life balance: What you can do now
Since we now have more time on our hands, it’s the perfect opportunity to make changes in our lives.
And these small daily steps can help you manifest greater things.
Basically, you can structure your day in a way that makes it easy for you to invest in career, love, fitness, health and hobbies.
This helps you change your conditioning by being intentional about where you spend your time and energy.
Let’s say that you enjoy going for long walks or running, you can fit that activity into your day and commit to it a few times a week to start with.
Then, you can dedicate a couple of hours working from home or working on your business or project.
If you’re single and looking to manifest a relationship, then you take one of the methods that I shared on my Instagram stories and highlights. The action has to come from following your intuition and it has to feel easy and inspired.
So instead of focusing on one area of your life, you put energy into all and you feel confident about yourself which feeds into all the other areas!
My passion these days is cooking and baking. It’s something that I’ve always loved and now is the best time to improve my culinary skills and learn how to bake!
If you have other hobbies, then try and do these at home. For example, I love doing online dance cardio classes when I can.
My point is that you can invest in career, love, health and wellness and hobbies if you’re being intentional about it.
Just try limiting your social media and screen time and see what happens!
I’m considering doing a free training on this topic in March so let me know if that would be interesting.
Another option is sharing different alignment practices to help you stay calm and positive in these times.
I’m open to any suggestions that you might have, so let me know!
