Restaurant Review: An Iftar Set Menu at Zahira Dubai

zahira dubai

Eating at the well known Chef Greg Malouf’s Zahira Dubai was an impressive experience.
The newly opened Middle Eastern restaurant offers a contemporary approach to Middle Eastern food. It has such a unique artistic presentation with its dishes.
They have a weekly Iftar set menu which consists of sharing plates. These creatively prepared Mezza selections are delicious. For example, hazelnut falafel, silky hummus, chicken and date fatayer and kousa stuffed with lamb and rice all taste amazing.
Malouf’s Ouzi is a slow cooked spiced lamb dish. It’s so tender it falls off the bone.
Also, you need to make sure you save room for dessert. How about an original apricot-filled Kunafa, watermelon and pistachio Halawa, a peach and apricot pavlova and some scrumptious Baklawa pieces?
The Chef’s a-la-carte menu includes these signature dishes including gluten free options.
Zahira Dubai offers excellence on many levels.  There is a lively ambiance. The staff are friendly and the presentation of food is superb.  Also, the quality of ingredients, the taste and creativity in every dish makes this is really lovely place to visit.
For AED 190 per person, this set Iftar option is good value. In summary, Zahira Dubai is not only a restaurant or lounge. It’s a celebration of life creating memorable, happy moments and giving positive vibes 🙂
