You’re not Late – Ignore the Noise

Life Updates

I’ve been keeping busy in the kitchen lately. I love how ever since I moved to my apartment exactly seven years ago, I’ve been feeling super creative in the kitchen. I mostly practice the same recipes and I sometimes try new ones.

I truly believe that the Feng Shui in my kitchen is spot on, because the energy feels so right for creating recipes in the kitchen daily. I’m so proud of myself for getting to a good skill level when it comes to cooking.

How are you spending your spring days? I hope that you’re doing something that brings you joy and peace.

You’re not Late

When I was in Bali last year for the summer, I met a woman who was working for the villa management company that I rented a villa with.

She was Indonesian but not Balinese. She moved to Bali from another island with her mother and daughter (she’s a single mother).

We were talking about how I’ve been visiting Bali since 2016 and I shared with her how I would love to move to Bali one day. We had conversations around this topic many times and in the second time, she replied with: “It’s taking you a long time” and she implied that I’m late in my decision and actions.

What’s interesting about that conversation is that she has no idea about our culture and how much I had to fight to get to where I am today.

Not only that, I actually can’t move to live in Bali and open a local bank account unless I decide to register a business there. Because a requirement for opening a local bank account is a Kitas visa. That type of visa is only given to people who choose to open a business in Bali.

I know this for a fact because I already researched the idea of moving to Bali permanently and I know that I’m not qualified for the retirement visa either.

Ignore the Noise

The thing is that throughout my many conversations with that woman from the villa management agency, I noticed so many red flags. Of course, when you do a lot of inner work, it becomes so easy to identify and see the red flags in other people.

After doing a lot of healing and inner work, it becomes impossible for you to tolerate other people’s toxic traits or behaviors.

I simply chose to ignore her text when she reached out to me a few months after my trip. Because the last thing that I need is someone who’s full of red flags to make me feel ‘less than’!

The reason I chose to share this story is to remind you that everyone’s life path is different. You can’t compare your life path or purpose with anyone else’s.

So just focus on walking your own path, and ignore the noise.

There’s no right or wrong timeline for accomplishing anything in life. The only thing that matters is how you’re walking your own path.

My dream life is constantly manifesting and I’m seeing signs about its unfolding daily.

All I need to do is keep using the law of attraction and take inspired action.

And that action doesn’t have to sound right for anyone, other than me!

I’m not late. You’re not late. Each one of us has a unique life path and journey. That’s it.

Surround yourself with People who Get you

Since the majority of people are going to project their flawed beliefs and outlooks onto you, it’s so important to keep those few, rare friends who get you close.

I’m so grateful for having a few good friends who understand and get me.

You don’t need many people, just a few, good quality ones.

Once you surround yourself with the right people who uplift and motivate you, you’ll find it easy to ignore the toxic ones and the ones who constantly project their limiting beliefs and ignorance onto you.

Do you ever feel like you’re late in life? Do you feel the need to race and get to the next phase?

Let me know in the comments.

Love,

Leela
