So we’re still in the Full Moon energy; luckily, today is the last day. How are you feeling?
Last week’s Manifestation Monday blog post had a very useful tip for those who doubt manifestation. You can read it here.
I met a woman at a meetup event that I hosted. Lately, she has been practising the law of attraction for some time, and then she became more rational about it.
She asked me this: “Why do I attract negative experiences or incidents?”
Today, let me explain my reasons why you manifest negative experiences or people. Understand this, and you’ll immediately start attracting positive experiences and people.
The obvious reason is that what you focus on expands. So if you constantly have negative thoughts, your reality will reflect that, and you attract exactly that.
But if you’re someone already on a spiritual growth and healing path and you still attract negative experiences or toxic people, let me share with you why this could be happening.
- There’s a learning lesson in that negative experience. You could be attracting a negative experience to help you break an old pattern or habit. For example, you need to end people-pleasing and learn how to set healthy boundaries.
- It’s simply that other people are projecting onto you their insecurities, toxic behaviors and limiting beliefs. In this case, you don’t need to worry about it. All you have to do is distance yourself from that person and set strong boundaries. This is very common when you go out in public, and I experience some form of this almost daily. Just withdraw and don’t engage with someone you feel is toxic and negative.
- You’re evolving and releasing old energy. This is another common reason for attracting negative experiences, especially at the time of the Full Moon. We’re always growing and evolving. If you experience any abuse, your energy attracts the same type of energy. Even after doing the healing work, you continue to attract this type of energy. So all you have to do is to go through the experience and acknowledge that it’s simply old energy being released and cleared. Trust that you’re heading in the right direction and are making space for new energy and people to enter your life.
These are the three main reasons why we attract negative experiences or people in our lives.
Can you think of any others? If so, please let me know in the comments!
